Who we are

Capital and Coast Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing and heating business based in Musselburgh, serving Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Our website address is https://capitalandcoastplumbing.co.uk.

What we collect

This website has two contact forms — the call-back request at the top of the page and the enquiry form at the bottom. When you send one, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the type of work you have ticked and anything you write in the message box. We only ever get what you type in; nothing is collected from you in the background.

There are no accounts, no comments and no shop on this site, so there is nothing else for us to collect.

What we do with it

We use your details to reply to you, quote for the work and carry it out. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Postmark, an email delivery service, and are then held in our email account. We keep enquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them for our records and for any warranty on work we have carried out.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers, so there is no cookie banner to click through.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a cookie strictly to keep the site secure and available, and which keeps short-lived technical logs including IP addresses. Our spam protection, where enabled, works the same way. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email liam@capitalandcoastplumbing.co.uk and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
